What are financial obstacles? Paano maiiwasan?

What are financial obstacles? Paano maiiwasan?

Financial obtacles are on the way!

Some of them are brought about by changes in the economy or environment, while some are outside factors, and internal within us. All of us will meet some of these obtacles. We all need to prepare for these things.

Financial Obstacles

  • Inflation.
  • Lack of financial literacy (but the mere fact that you are reading this blog means you have taken the right step towards knowledge)
  • Laziness o Katamaran. Hindi ka talaga uunlad kapag tamad ka.
  • Impatience o Pagkainip. Minsan kasi, gusto natin agad-agad kumita. Hindi naman sa lahat ng pagkakataon ganun.
  • Bahala na Attitude. Ganyan tayo eh. Go with the flow ng buhay. Happy-go-lucky.
  • Tukso
  • Procratination o Pagpapabukas
  • Fear of failure.
  • Over-diversification.

Despite the presence of these financial obstacles, we all have our allies and sources of inspiration to hold on and continue to this journey.

Your Weapons Against Financial Obstacles

  • Focus. Stick to your financial plan.
  • Always go back to your dreamboard.
  • Get inspiration.
  • Join Facebook groups and forum related to personal finance. Ika nga, filter what’s useful.
  • Pray, pray, pray for it constantly! Isama sa dasal ang mga pangarap mo.
  • Look at the positive side of things.
  • Pick yourself from the downfall. Get up and try again.
  • Adapt to changes and news. Get in tune with local and global news.
  • Get support from your partner or from your relatives, from people who value you most.
  • Educate yourself your family and friends through reading personal finance books (and blogs like this), attending personal finance seminars, and talking about money and how to handle money wisely event at home.
  • Have a back-up plan. Kung ‘di umayon si Plan A, may Plan B.

Sabi nga nila, ang financial freedom journey ay hindi isang karera – it’s a kind of journey that can change your mindset, your lifestyle and your perspective in life.
